*******************************************************************************
Installation:

Unzip the pj-tmefq_752v202.exe archive to your FS2002 ROOT folder.

----------------

IMPORTANT NOTE ! - To correct an error in the tail texture copy the ifdg752_tl_t.bmp file in the tailtextureupdate.zip into all 3 texture folders and over-write the originals.

Also use the ifdg752_f1_t.bmp file in updateforidfg757v2-texture.tca2.zip to over-write the original file in texture.tca2 ONLY !

Sorry for the inconvenience !

----------------

Back up first, then add this line to the panel.cfg you are using with this aircraft, below all the other gauges listed under

[Window00]

	gaugeXX=PAVortices!PAVortices, 0, 0, 1

N.B Replace XX by the appropriate number (they're numbered sequentially in the panel.cfg)

No need to hit the "I" key........or do anything :o) - Vapour Trails will appear automatically at speeds between 150-175kts

*OPERATION WITHOUT GAUGE INSTALLED:
Hit the "I" key while flying to see them..........or alternatively go to menu and select Aircraft----->Smoke System and make sure there is a check mark next to it !

You will find your aircraft under:

Boeing -
	- 757-200
		- TradeWind Caribbean
		- TradeWind Caribbean -Logojet
	   and
	- 757-200SF
		- TradeWind Caribbean Air Cargo

NB. 1

The lights are configured to be in the correct location when the dynamic wings are flexed in flight.

Don't select strobes (toggle keyboard 'o') on the ground or you will get TWO sets of lights (one floating).

These will line up when airborne so as soon as you get some weight on the wings, hit the strobe key !

*******************************************************************************
NB. 2

If you are a PIC767 panel user and have aliased your 757s to that panel use the PICAircraft.cfg file after renaming it to Aircraft.cfg (always back up originals first !) The 757s .air file is compatible with the 767PIC Panel so use it.

For ballpark v-speed figures from the FMC, enter a ZFW of 130 tonnes (metric) for takeoff and 115 tonnes (metric) for landing.
This is done to fool the FMC into thinking its a 767.

*******************************************************************************
NB. 3

Door actuations:

Tailhook Extending/Retracting key = 1st door port side

Main Exit key = 2nd door port side

Wing Extending/Folding key = 3rd door port side

Main Exit key + 2 = both starboard cargo hold doors

Please note Main Cargo door does NOT operate ! (It's just for effect <G>)

Included:

'Realistic Night Lighting' v2 by Kaveh Payandeh

The 'Taxi light' is configured seperately to the 'Landing lights' and switches independently.

About the FDE (flight dynamics):

- The flight dynamics are accurately modeled after the real Boeing
757 aircraft and delivers accurate performance and handling for
  all phases of flight.

- The rudder sensitivity may be too much for some systems. To tone
this down, open the aircraft.cfg with notepad and locate the line
   rudder_effectiveness=1.000
Change the value to a lower setting until you're happy with it.

- The aircraft is hard to slow down. This is realistic. You require
descent planning to get this bird safely on the runway.
  Good mental targets are:
Flaps 5 and speed 180 or less when intercepting glideslope
and you will be alright. If you're faster or higher, you may not
be able to configure the aircraft for landing in time, so go around.
Speed reduction from 300 to 250 and 250 to 210 will take approx.
90 seconds (a long time) in LEVEL FLIGHT for both instances!
Descending and decelerating may be very hard if not impossible
  sometimes.

- Though different engine ratings are available, the flight dynamics
are still accurate for all versions.
